The Bible Men

There is no greater theological myth in the world than the lie that the Bible and the Quran are aligned. Nothing could be more absurd. In this episode, we demonstrate beyond a doubt that the links between the Bible and the Quran are not by accident, and they are not what you think they are. 

A look back at two important issues we’ve discussed in the last two episodes: NBA star Jaden Ivey, who was cut by the Chicago Bulls after calling out the NBA for its Biblically unrighteous embrace of gay ideology, and Pope Leo, also of Chicago, for his embrace of..well, we are not really sure what he is embracing, but we know that he does not embrace: the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is not political, and the truth of God’s word, which is the Holy Bible. 

Jesus was not a victim; the purpose of faith in the Triune God is not a fairer society, but salvation; Jesus did not send forth the apostles in order for them to defend man; God never decries wealth, he hates the wicked and their acts. These are just a few of the apostasies preached by Pope Leo XIV during his speech in Monaco. Inquiring minds want to know: has he ever read a Bible, and does he believe what he read, or is he really the communist he appears to be?

As our culture sinks slowly into the abyss of sin-laden moral dysfunction and decay, God raises up men who will stand heroically on His word and speak the truth. Basketball player Jaden Ivey is one of those men, for calling out the NBA for its unrighteousness devotion to gender anarchy. And he was cut from team speaking God’s truth. We have thoughts on this, in the first of two (or maybe three) episodes looking at the inexorable American march away from Biblical truth. 

No, it does not. But, it does call us to be many other things and to embody and evince many other characteristics. Do you know what they are? Listen and hear what we have to say about God’s word…and the fact that words have meaning. 

The word “nice” doesn’t mean what you think it does, and it appears not a single time in God’s Holy Bible.  God commands us to live our lives with patience, kindness, humility, and courage. Everyone worships something: money, power, sex, entertainment, depravity, material goods, etc. The list is endless. And so is the sinfulness of worshipping something other than the One True God. And, as always, the Bible has much to teach us. 

Well, of course, YOU are responsible for your salvation, but it is possible only through faith in Jesus Christ. In this episode, we walk through why this is so, and frame for you how the Bible guides you to Jesus, the Lord and Savior of the world. Salvation is not, however, for the faint of heart; Christ calls you to turn away from the spirit of the age and reject the craven things in our culture that Satan uses to tempt you. Think you cannot do that? We used to believe that we too were too weak. But the God who loves us unconditionally gave us strength through His Word, and He can do that for you as well.
